I’ll admit that I’m addicted to the North Campus Parking Deck on the UGA campus. On this morning I was actually out for a run and — because of the daily photo challenge I had set for myself — I carried my camera along. This is my Sony A6000 with a 20mm prime lens attached. Pretty much my go-to set-up because it is so small and easy to carry. As you can see from the gray sky it was rather overcast that morning but the clouds were finally breaking up and I could tell that I’d have an amazing sunrise. I ran to the top of the North Campus deck because it is the highest and most accessible spot from my house. I quickly noticed the effect that the sunrise was having on this metal “fence.” That is the rising sun reflecting off the side of those wide metal slats. This was one of my most engaging moments with my camera and the sun and the urban environment. I could have stayed there all morning but I had to get home, get showered, and go to work.
